About Beat

A Perfect Fit

Abaltat Beat is simple to use. In a couple of minutes you can create MIDI drum tracks to match an edited video clip. Abaltat Beat

Beat calculates a best rhythmical fit for a video by analyzing its Edit Decision List (EDL). This Best Fit is played out by Beat as a MIDI drum track and is expressed in Beats Per Minute (BPM)

This process is automatic. All the editor has to do is enter an EDL, a QuickTime movie and then select a drum track from the options provided.

The speed of the drum track can be adjusted, along with the time signature (beats per bar). This provides you with the flexibility to use Beat as a stand alone MIDI rhythm machine.

All adjustments can be played back in sync to the picture, so you can see the relationship between picture and sound.

Export Options

Your MIDI drum track can then be exported in a variety of formats including: MIDI, AIFF, Movie to iPhone, MPEG-4 and as a self contained QuickTime movie file.
